  October 22，2021 | Wuhan, ChinaThe "China New Materials Industry Summit Forum - The 3rd Chinese Advanced Materials Industry Development Conference and 2021 'Sci-Tech Innovation China' New Materials Experts, Technology, and Demand Promotion Meeting" (hereinafter referred to as the Conference), hosted by the Chinese Academy of Engineering and the China Association for Science and Technology, and co-hosted by the Chinese Materials Research Society (C-MRS), grandly opened on October 22 at the Wuhan Optics Valley Science and Technology Convention and Exhibition Center.With the theme of innovation, development, and application, the conference aimed to support and advance China's high-tech, high-end manufacturing, and major engineering projects towards world-class levels. The conference featured the inaugural "Materials Power" forum, 38 high-end sub-forums in key strategic materials fields, and nearly 500 high-end invited reports, and was attended by over 2,500 experts, scholars, and enterprise representatives. The conference chairs were Academicians Yuanyuan Li and Bingbo Wei.The opening ceremony and keynote reports were live-streamed, attracting a cumulative total of 240,000 professional viewers in related fields across platforms such as Research Cloud-Bilibili, Research Cloud-Baidu, Research Cloud-Video, Research Cloud-YouTube, Research Cloud-Douyin, Research Cloud-Kuaishou, and Research Cloud-Zhihu.The successful convening of this conference was made possible by the hard work and dedication of the chairs of the various sub-forums, the secretaries-general, the members of the conference organizing committee, and the members of the advisory committee. It was also strongly supported by the co-hosting units Huazhong University of Science and Technology, the Chemical, Metallurgical, and Materials Engineering Division of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the Wuhan Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, and the Wuhan East Lake High-Tech Development Zone Management Committee.
