The World Materials Conference is a prestigious international event organized by the China Materials Research Society (C-MRS), in collaboration with leading global materials research organizations such as the European Materials Research Society (E-MRS) and the Materials Science Society of Japan (MRS-J). This conference serves as a premier platform for scientists, engineers, and industry leaders from around the world to convene, share insights, and explore the latest advancements in the field of materials science.

The conference is held annually, with its venue set in China. Each year, the World Materials Conference gathers distinguished experts, scholars, and professionals from across the globe to engage in high-level discussions and share their pioneering work. The first and second World Materials Conferences were held concurrently with the China Materials Conference in 2023 and 2024.
