In line with the implementation of the "National Standardization Development Outline" and to accelerate the promotion and application of advanced materials technologies, it is crucial for universities, research institutes, and enterprises to develop high-quality group standards. These standards can guide research and development directions, regulate market order, reduce innovation costs, foster collaboration and exchange, and enhance international influence. Group standards in the advanced materials sector play a significant role in promoting healthy industry development, enhancing independent innovation capabilities, and leading industry innovation. The Chinese Materials Research Society (C-MRS) offers advantages in the development of advanced materials group standards, including a rapid standard revision mechanism, professional government guidance, and diverse promotional methods. Several practical group standards have already been established and published.

To strengthen the capacity for group standardization in the advanced materials field and to enhance the ability to manage and draft these standards, the Chinese Materials Research Society will hold a "Advanced Materials Group Standards" training course on October 18, 2024, at the China Chegu International Sports and Cultural Exchange Center in Wuhan, Hubei Province. The details are as follows:

- Standard drafters from universities, research institutes, and enterprises intending to apply for the "Advanced Materials Group Standards" under C-MRS.

III. Training Date and Location

- Date: October 18, 2024

- Location: China Chegu International Sports and Cultural Exchange Center, Wuhan, Hubei Province

IV. Training Content

This training course will combine keynote presentations, practical experience sharing, special topic discussions, and interactive exchanges. The course content includes:

1. Interpretation of relevant policies on group standards in the advanced materials field;

2. Promotion and application of group standards with case studies;

3. Enhancement of group standard drafting skills.

V. Certification

Upon completion of the training, participants will receive a "C-MRS Advanced Materials Group Standards Training Completion Certificate."

Registration for this training course is open from now. This training course is exclusively for registered attendees of the combined events: New Productivity Power – Advanced Materials Summit Forum, the 5th China Advanced Materials Industry Development Conference, the 2nd China Advanced Materials Technology Application Conference, the 3rd China Advanced Materials Investment Conference, and the 2024 Advanced Materials Devices Expo. Participation is limited to about 50 people, and registration will close once capacity is reached. No training fees will be charged.
