On June 6, 2024, the Elsevier CiteScore indicators for 2023 were officially released. CiteScore 2023 has conducted the latest evaluation of the impact of peer-reviewed journals, book series, conference papers, and industry journal materials included in the Scopus database.

The latest CiteScore of Progress in Natural Science: Materials International (PNSMI) journal, sponsored by the Chinese Society for Materials Research and published by Elsevier Press, is 8.6. Compared to last year (CiteScore=6.6), it achieved a growth of 30.2%. Ranked 92nd out of 463 journals in the Materials Science: General Materials Science section, for the first time in the top 20% of the field!
